LETS RODEO!!!
This is after the rodeo, Melissa gets a Big, no scratch that, HUGE kick out of Ben's work truck. She just had to get our picture by it and then her and me by it.... She could barely stop giggling long enough to get the shot. She was like a 7 year old boy that just told a fart joke, she always makes everything fun, always something else to laugh at. Ahhhh good times.
Such sweet baby girls. Melissa emails me all of the time saying how lucky we are to have these two.... I must agree with her.
Grace WILD!!! She is so full of energy, not as much as Cooper, but it is a tight race. She is a DANCER! Just like her Mama. She gets her shoulders going hands out to the sides, she puts on a "show smile" and entertains the crowd. The more people watching her, the better. Everyone that went to school with me would appreciate her sweet moves. I guess I should explain..... Melissa is a choreographer for many shows and she teaches people of all ages, she is a great dancer.
So we are sitting in class waiting on our next instructor and Melissa asks me as serious as can be "mind if I work" I try as hard as I can to stay composed because she has a Walkman with the earphones pulled down around her neck just enough to speak to me but not to miss any of the the words Gloria Estevan is belting out. I tell her to go ahead and "work" and she puts the headphones back up and sways her head to the beat, eyes closed. Meanwhile Avery a guy from our class comes up and is dancing right next to her like a chip-n- dale dancer and she doesn't catch on for what seems like 20 minutes. Now we always say "mind if I work?" it just never gets old... thanks Melissa.

Showing off her belt buckle just like her Daddy's She even wanted to ride a bull. All night she would say ride a bull, and I would say "You want to ride a bull?" and she would say "yeah." So after Ben was finished we took her over to the mechanical bull. She was excited about riding and she couldn't stop smiling. That is until the man started it, then she was done. She lasted about 1 second before she reached down with her free hand and began to cry for me.
STILL TERRIFIED OF CLOWNS!!!!! She saw the clown before the rodeo and desperatly wanted to escape. She clung to Ben's neck so tight there wasn't any room between them for even the thinnest piece of paper. Then when the show started and he came out she went from happy as could be to hysterical. She was pulling my arm saying please Mama C'mon, please. She wanted to get the heck out of dodge. I told her we wouldn't be able to watch Daddy ride his bull, (thinking that this would change her mind since she was talking about it all day long,) but she still wanted to leave. She was not having it! After about 45 minutes of sitting on my lap and distracting her with the bulls, she cheered back up was singing and dancing and almost forgot about him. She would still have to keep her eye on him, and when she would see him she would lean her body so it was angled away from him and then slowly step away back into my lap. The next night different rodeo same thing, this time I had to leave my seat and calm her down. After the rodeo Melissa wanted a picture with the clown and I had to take it, Charleigh hid behind my leg and cried the entire 20 seconds it took to snap the photo. Poor, Poor girl.
Rodeo Season is here!
Ahhhhh summer time.......
Charleigh is holding a brand new cow and calf and donkey. They are a gift from Melissa and Grace. Melissa came over to watch the Chester bullriding with us. I had to post these in between the trailride pictures, so pardon the order of vacation pictures, these then many more vacation pictures.
