Wow! Time sure has flown by, it seems like I just updated the page and yet it has been almost two months!! I am sorry for slacking we have been so busy. After Memorial Day we have my cousin Jonathan's Graduation, my graduation, our vacation to Eminence where we trail ride, Ben's brother Cecil's wedding, the bullriding season is at its peak, and Ben started a new job! Charleigh has been such a busy little girl. She is scooting and rolling all over the house, it is so funny to watch her scoot her way into a corner and then wonder what to do next. She jabbers all day long and when we talk back to her she gets quiet and waits until we quit before she starts up again. Charleigh makes so many different faces the most popular latley is sticking her little tounge in and out pretending to be a snake.
I have graduated from my school and have worked a few different shifts one of those shifts being from 7p.m to 7a.m which I was thinking would work out great because Ben could watch her while I worked and then I could be there before he left. Sounded like a great plan until I realized I would have to stay up all day with her. In addition to being sleep deprived Charleigh got sick over night and was not a very happy lady the next day so I was wore out. After being up for 36 hours I decided that working midnights wouldn't work out so well for me.
Ben started his new job on the 5th of this month and has had to be on the road pretty much the entire time for his training. But he really likes what he is doing and will be home more often once he know the ropes.
Anyway that is a little bit of what is going on, here are some pictures for you all to enjoy

This weekend we were at Warrensburg, MO for a bullriding and then we stopped by Mom and Dads for a BBQ and trailride at Uncle Al's. We got Charleigh's pony out so that all of the kids there could ride him so that in year or so he would be good for Charleigh. One little girl who was probably 10 or so got on and Pauncho bucked a little bit and the girl laughed so Dad flanked the pony and let all the kids get a turn or 3 turns while Pauncho bucked. All of the kids had a great time and wanted to keep going but we let Pauncho quit because it was a little warm out. It made me wonder if Charleigh would enjoy "rodeos at Grandpa's" when she is old enough.

Charleigh is getting so big, everyone that sees her always has something to say about her "being very healthy" or how pretty her eyes are. She is almost five months old now and is 13 pounds. She defiantly is getting her own little personality. She can go from giggling and grinning to bawling in a split second. It is so funny to watch. She sticks out her little bottom lip and then just turns it on. She also loves to shop! Anytime we go out she is a perfect little angel, she laughs and smiles at everyone. Everyone comes up to us and talks to Charleigh and she will just laugh at them and have the best time. She has ROLLED OVER!!!!! When she is on her tummy she will push off her hands and just flip. She pushes so hard that she usually hits her head but she doesn't get upset. She also moves in circles, I will put her on her mat and come back into the room and she will be half way under the couch just smiling. She has also went on her first horseback ride. She rides on Scooter which is my horse that I have had for 10 years. She fell asleep after about 3 minutes but enjoyed herself while she was awake. We are getting ready for vacation where we will ride a lot. Her looks have changed and she looks nothing like she did as a newborn. I think she really looks like Ben, but the hair color is still undecided. She has Neapolitan hair it is chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. It is red on the very bottom and dark brown in the back and it is coming in white blonde on the very top. I guess only time will tell. She will be pretty with any hair color.

Grandma Ferrell came to watch Charleigh for a couple of days.

Charleigh Angel

Charleigh is almost four months old and now weighs 11lbs She is still sleeping all through the night. Sometimes she goes to sleep at 8 or 9 and sleeps until 7:00!!!!!! We really appreciate this. Adrienne applied for an early out from her school, which means if you get good grades & are ahead on all of your clinical exams you can get out 4 weeks earlier than the other students!!! So this week will be her last week. We are very excited . Time has really flown by. We have so many great memories from the past year having Charleigh being by far the best. We will keep you all updated, until then keep checking in on our lil' angel
