Anytime Charleigh opened a present, she would hand each little scrap of paper to whoever was closest. If you weren't paying attention she would yell your name until you took that little scrap of paper. She did this for every single present. In this picture Charleigh had just gotten out of a bath and Ya-Ya let her open a present.

Charleigh came home from Mississippi with a jumping horse from Grandmother and Granddaddy Ferrell. She LOVES to get on it & ride like crazy. I keep thinking she is going to pull it over on her, but so far so good.
She rides first thing in the morning.......

Mississippi for Christmas.

The weekend before Christmas Ben and Charleigh ventured down to West Point to be with his family. It was my weekend to work so I was unable to go but was so glad Ben was able to spend time with his family. Charleigh was such a good girl for him. She didn't cry the whole way down and Ben said she cried just a little on the way back when she needed a break. Ben said she had a good time too. She loved following Ashleigh around and pretending to be a "big girl". It would be nice if we could all get together more often. Playing piano with Grandma.

She gives her sit-n-spin a whirl. This is a toy that has been popular for years. My sisters and I had one when we were little, and we would spin ourselves silly too.

It is a scary sight when this wild child gets out of bed. She tosses and turns all night until her hair looks like this. I hate to admit it but she gets her messy hair and her uncontrollable wiggles from me, I still look this scary in the morning. Did any of you guys go to the magic house as kids and put your hand on the static ball? If you did your hair looked like this didn't it?

Ben wonders how in the world he is going to get her hair combed.
