This is a jack-in-the-box tigger, that looks like a present. You press the button and tigger talks or jumps out or both. Then it snaps closed. Charleigh would bring it to Pa-Pa or Grandma and then laugh when they pretended that they were scared. In one of these pictures you can see that Pa-Pa let it snap on her finger. It only bothered her for a split-second. Then it was back to playing with the toy again.

Anytime Charleigh opened a present, she would hand each little scrap of paper to whoever was closest. If you weren't paying attention she would yell your name until you took that little scrap of paper. She did this for every single present. In this picture Charleigh had just gotten out of a bath and Ya-Ya let her open a present.

another example of her not wanting the paper to touch the ground.

She got a cabbage patch doll from some family friends.

Then she took the doll for a ride on both of her horses.

LET'ER BUCK

Charleigh came home from Mississippi with a jumping horse from Grandmother and Granddaddy Ferrell. She LOVES to get on it & ride like crazy. I keep thinking she is going to pull it over on her, but so far so good.
She rides first thing in the morning.......

In her dress, with a cabbage patch doll and her cowgirl hat........

In Mississippi........
and after a bath with nothing but a towel on...... She kept saying"It's COLD!!!!"

Mississippi for Christmas.

The weekend before Christmas Ben and Charleigh ventured down to West Point to be with his family. It was my weekend to work so I was unable to go but was so glad Ben was able to spend time with his family. Charleigh was such a good girl for him. She didn't cry the whole way down and Ben said she cried just a little on the way back when she needed a break. Ben said she had a good time too. She loved following Ashleigh around and pretending to be a "big girl". It would be nice if we could all get together more often. Playing piano with Grandma.

The entire Ferrell Family(minus yours truly)At least they left a chair on the left to symbolize my presence.

They decided it would be a good idea for Charleigh to hold Paxton. She has to give him some loves.

By the time his big sister held him he was tired of pictures.

Getting ready to open presents.

WOW!!!! A baby.

She gives her sit-n-spin a whirl. This is a toy that has been popular for years. My sisters and I had one when we were little, and we would spin ourselves silly too.

Tim, Christian and Paxton . I think Tim's ears were cold, that or he just got that hat for Christmas.
