the petting zoo...

We spend a lot of time here every year at the state fair. This year they had a baby buffalo, and he was sooooo cute and fuzzy. Charleigh knew exactly waht it was when she saw him. It is funny when she knows things that you don't expect here to know .

The FUNKY CHICKEN

We wanted to see the bunny rabbits, but they did not arrive until a couple of days later. Instead all they had were chickens. Charleigh still liked looking at all of them and pretending to be a chicken herself.

When people say "Funky Chicken" these are the birds that they are taking about!

Camel Rides...

While we were at the State fair we asked Charleigh if she wanted to ride a camel, of course her answer was "Yes, Yes, Yes!" She wasn't a bit scared and held on like the little cowgirl she is. She looked so little up on the camel's back.

She had to hang on tight, the camel moved different than a horse does.

Daddy's Girl.

Charleigh and Ben walking around the State Fair. Charleigh is Lil' Miss Independant and does not want help doing anything right now. She likes to walk and not ride in a stroller.

Charleigh is in her own little world, just singing and playing while we walk. She loves to play with the strangest things. She loves ropes and calls all of them "reins" and loves lids and odd things she finds all of different places.

BUCKED OFF!!!!

Charleigh got bucked off the most out of the 3 little ones. She always landed on the ground while the other 2 just mainly landed on their feet. Charleigh needs to learn this trick. SHE WAS FILTHY AND COVERED IN GRASS!

LOOK AT HOW COVERED IN DIRT SHE WAS. She needed the John Deere tee shirt that says "I make dirt look good"

LIKE WILD INDIANS......

They got out the stuffed bull and horse Charleigh brought and Charleigh showed them how she likes to ride them like she is in the rodeo and they are bucking. So for the next hour they took turns getting bucked off and landing on the ground.

Charleigh had a great time running around and playing with Jate and Emma. They chased one another around. They would run around Jacy and the other cowboys that were standing behind the back pens.

Taking a break ..

Charleigh and her daddy sat on the back of the firetruck parked by the arena to take a break and eat some nachos and drink some Capri-Sun.

Sharing with Daddy.

The state fair rodeo.

Emma, Jate, and Charleigh are all sitting on a lawn chair loveseat. Emma is the stock contractors daughter and he is 3. Charleigh is about 4 or so inches taller than her. Jate is 4months older than Charleigh and they are about the same size, he is Jacy and Jeff's son they also own some of the stock that comes to the outlaw shows.

Charleigh kept yelling for her Dad(who wasn't riding), Uncle Silly, (who wasn't riding) Zach, who was, her Papa, and me and her Uncle Alan. She sings "Go Daddy, RIDE A BULL, Go Daddy ride a bull." It is to the tune of Its your birthday......She repalces the names and for me and Silly it is ride a horse since we have been picking up together and Uncle Al is milk a cow since he was in the wild cow milking. She sings these made-up songs in the car, around the house, anytime she sees a cowboy riding a bull she sings it . It is so cute.
