Sweet Summer

Charleigh took a break form her slip-n-slide and pool to catch some sun on her towel. I was inside getting her something to drink and I looked outside to see her laying out.

COME OUT AND PLAY!!

My friend lives right around the block, she has 2 boys; Bryke 3, and Ben 9months. They came over one day to play with us. Charleigh loves to be around other kids and loves to boss them around! Bryke is such a little sweetie his mom asked him who his best friend was and Bryke said "Ben"(his new baby brother), and she said who is your 2nd best friend?(thinking he would say his dog because he says it so cute) but instead he said "Charleigh!"

This donkey puppet has been mine for 16 or so years, it has gotten to where the mouth was all tore and your fingers would peak through when you tried to use it. Charleigh loved to play with it and say "hee haww Heeeee Hawwww Heeee hawww..."

Eat My Dust!!!!!

It is time again for the Reiner ride where we do the races and the extreme races. So I just had to post this and tell the story..... Ben got drawn to race this boy on a pony half the size of his horse(Logan). They are down at the starting line and Ben looks down at him and tells him " Good Luck, Buddy" almost already feeling bad for knowning he is going to beat this kid. Bad. Well a picture is worth a 1,000 words in this case maybe 10,000. I couldn't belive he lost...... It is alright babe, you are a great bullrider. Like Mike Gilliam said stick with what you know. Ahhhhh Bless his little heart for tryin.

RABBIT CHASE

We have always had lots of rabbits around our house, one of which has only 3 legs. Mr. 3legs loves our house and stays very close so Charleigh chases him most often. Recently we had this rabbit in our yard that would let Charleigh get within 4 feet of it before it ran off, when she did, she would return back to our yard within minutes. I knew she had to have some bunnies close, so I began searching our yard. I was right, and Charleigh was SUPER EXCITED! We would only peak into their little home in the ground and see their fuzzy little ears and faces, then cover them back up. Charleigh loved to leave them baby carrots, the first time she fed them she shoved a big handful into the hole right on top of the babies!!! I had to stop her and move them to the side, and from then on she would leave them at the edge. She told everyone about the "baby,baby wabbits, in our ard" They are big enough now that they come out and run around and stay in a bush by our fence, soon they will be grown and Charleigh will chase them everywhere. P.S. Our mower quit us, well not really quit us, it still ran it just was hitting the deck the whole time it was running and it vibrated so much it caused our hands to swell every time we mowed. The great part about it dying was we didn't feel bad about getting a new one. One that I can actually start and not worry about it dying because I would never get it going again, not to mention the swollen, achy hands and loss of hearing that were a side affect of the old mower.

I told Charleigh today that she was funny. She said "Noooooooo Mama" like I was silly "I Chaaiee, Chaaiee adence Ferreo." TRANSLATION: Charleigh Cadence Ferrell.

ANIMAL LOVER

Charleigh wanted to do it herself, she is lil' Miss Independant.

Finally on day two the zebra and donkey woke up and ate from Charleigh's shovel.

Cruising the State Fair...

Attack of the balloon! When the wind blew her balloon Charleigh acted like it was a shark biting at her and she would stay away from it at all costs.

Could she be any sweeter?

She wore her sunglasses around the fair to block her little eyes form the bright sun.

TICKET TO RIDE!

Charleigh is showing off her all day pass to ride the rides!

Then it was time to ride, all we had to do was wait in lines....

And wait.....

and wait..... this is the line for the bouncy world(we spent hours here) she has her shoes off and is ready. She is gettign so wore out she has to prop her little head up.

HOLY MOLY!

This picture is blurry, but you can see her leg on the side that caused her to hang up, do a quick flip and then roll several times. Everyone around us would gasp and worry if she would be alright. We even cringed a bit and kept thinking that she would get up crying but she would always wake up laughing, ready for more!

The boy at the bottom was heading for the hills!
