Above the Clouds...

The guy I went with said that the clouds were at about 5,000 feet and we were at 12,000 feet! When we went over the cloud you could see our shadow under it, and a circular rainbow.

My Next 30 years....

I am not sure how, but I am 30! It was my best birthday to date, and I was ready for it to be the worst. My " Older than Dirt" cake.

2 of my co-workers: Amy and Joan. They were a big part of the party planning. Amy made me an "Older than Dirt Cake." and Joan made the buttons and many of the signs and they both helped coordinate a nacho bar! It was all so good!

This is the desk we sit at. There were 30's EVERYWHERE! Along with pictures of my face on other people's bodies. I was Kim Kardashin, Wonder Woman, Super Woman, Bret Michaels, a midget in a diaper..etc the list goes on and on and on! It was so much fun! They all made me feel super loved and very special!

Some of the pictures.

Melissa modeling one of the Buttons that everyone had on that said "Adrienne is 30!"

Meeting our kitten Fuzzy for the first time, lets just say they are not friends yet.

Adalyn at the Warren County fair, 13 months old. She is gabbering up a storm, she will try and say just about anything you say. When you ask her where someone or something is and she does not know she will put her arms up in the arm like "you got me". It is funny. She will also come to you when you ask her to, she seems to listen pretty well, we will see is she keeps it up.

This is Ben after some of the swelling went down! He is still looking a bit scarey form that damn tooth.

Bring'em Home Cowgirl

This is Charleigh at the Warrenton rodeo on July 8th 2010. She was so excited so many people came to watch her, she was talking about it for weeks prior and will probably be talking about it for weeks to come. She asked her Grandpa "Grandpa, are you gonna come watch me run barrels?

Grandpa "Uh-huh"

Charleigh" Will you say "Go Charleigh?" "

Grandpa "Yep"

Charleigh "Will you say" Bring her home Cowgirl"?"

Grandpa "Uh-huh.....

She really wanted everyone to notice her fringe on her shirt flying behind her as she ran. Outlaw Rodeo Company let her run exhibition and Mark Ficken, the announcer, announced her as the winner. He really talked her up and told everyone that she was 4 and she was a cowgirl. Everyone was super nice to Charleigh and made her feel so special. She had a big crowd of fans there to cheer her on as well. You can kinda hear the crowd going crazy for her on the video, when she comes running out. When she goes around the 3rd barrel she always wants us to yell "Bring'em home Cowgirl." As she came out of the arena her smile was priceless, and she looked at me and said "Mom, you yell for me?"

God Bless America

Charleigh was so happy she got to carry the flag inthe parade, now she wants to carry the flag in the rodeo. At the Outlaw show their flag has fireworks that stream out the top on the flag pole. Now Charleigh REALLY WANTS TO DO THAT. baby steps......

Charleigh carried this flag through the entire parade! She did awesome, so did Scooter and Pete. She had so many people commenting on how little she was. A couple people even asked how old she was, and when she said four, they were suprised. They all told her she was such a good rider. She would grin form ear to ear and say "Hank you."

Talk about making your heart swell..... She is such a little cowgirl she makes us so proud.

Clementine and Charleigh were super excited about putting glitter on their horses. it was the highlight for Clementine. She must have asked us 50 times about getting the glitter on her Palamino. It was funny when she got off and Ben rode the horse covered in glitter through the parade alone. (Even funnier cause I didn't have any on Pete, just Benny and Charleigh.)

Ben had Clementine on with him but she fell asleep before the parade started. She looked very uncomfortable and everyone we went by commented on her sleeping. When we saw Uncle Alan we handed her off and she woke up, but she wasn't to sure she wanted to get back on when we asked. It was a good thing because Ben's tooth was infected and he was in some major pain, the next morning it looked like he had a softball in his cheek (no joke) he was super uncomfortable and I had to work! Grand Gram, Grandma, and Grandpa were at a funeral and Ferrell and Grandaddy were in Mississippi, or as Charleigh calls it "Sippi" I got a girl from work who always helps me out to come in so I could go home and help Ben. I got home and he was laying in bed with Ada and Charleigh playing in the bed making a tent with the covers. Charleigh waqs Daddy's little helper and watched her sister until Momma could get home.
Notice Ada has a sucker in her hand and is still reaching for more candy.
Have you ever seen that sign that says "A Balanced Diet is Having A Cookie in Each Hand." ? Well she takes it to heart, if you get her food you better have enough for both hands or she just isn't happy. She will throw herself a " Ben Ferrell Fit" and they are always dooseys. She does it up right, just like her daddy, if you are going to throw a fit, might as well throw a good'n.

Charity and Rick drove an hour to watch the girls in the parade. By the time we got to them we no longer had their kid. Opps, maybe next year.
