ANYBODY STILL OUT THERE?

hello everybody. SUPRISE SUPRISE we are still here and still loving the changes our lives have taken since Charleigh. THE BLOG HAS TURNED INTO A HUGE STRESS! Ben and I have both spent time trying to figure out what in the world we can do to go back to the way it was before the update. AHHAHAHAHAHAHHHAH. I think we might need to get a "Self-Help" book or something. So here I go again writing about anything and everything, hoping that this time will be different, that this blog entry will make it onto the page. It has turned out to be where I can't remember what I have said and it has made it onto the page and what I have written and it vanished into blog-space. So here is the latest.......
Charleigh is walking and has been since Feburary. She is EVERYWHERE. She gets things and if she thinks we are going to take it from her she extends her arm to where it is as far away from us as possible and runs, (she is still wobbly while running which makes it cute.) She is still such a happy girl, EVERYWHERE we go (and I do mean everywhere) people stop us to tell us how cute she is and how happy she is. Ben had a show at a horse fair in IL. where he sets up a booth and has the company's stuff, you know how it goes anyway, Charleigh and I went along and we brought Charleigh's horse and she sat on it and waved with two hands at everyone as they walked by for three days straight. Once she got their attention she would blow them kisses. (She now makes a mmmmmmmm---maaaaaaaaaa sound when she blows kisses or gives real kisses.) The booths on all sides of us, & across the aisle kept giving her gifts, taking her picture and blowing her kisses back. She is no longer on a bottle, she stoped taking at around 11 months. My dad taught her to drink out of a straw and he is so proud of himself. She is for the most part sleeping through the night and still hates going to sleep more than anything, she will fight it until the bitter end when she can no longer hold her little eyes open. She is now a big cousin... CHARITY HAD HER BABY!!!! A little girl that weighed 7lbs 4ozs and 20in long. she was born at 6:15 at on March 14th three days before Charity's 30th birthday. It was a long hard delivery that began at 3:45 on tuesday march 13th, I had just driven home from Mom and Dad's and Charity called and told me about her symptoms (which I thought were nothing) but I told her call her Dr. anyway so she did and ended up in the hospital and began some pretty intense contractions and Ben, me and Charleigh headed to Columbia to show our support. By 6:00 she was having contractions about 3-5 mintues apart. She went until 11:00am the next day until she got some pain medication and was still in the middle stages of labor. She began actually pushing at 2:30 and pushed until about 6:00 and then they did and emergency c-section. I don't know about you, but I am exhausted just writing about it all. SO anyway Clementine Penrose is in this world. Charity and the baby are doing great and we are so excited .

So here is the deal...... the blog will still not work on my computer! But the good news is it is working on Ben's computer!!! The bad news is that all the new pictures are saved on a program in my computer that seems to be the problem with the blog and we are afraid to update the progam without losing ALL the pictures since Charleigh's birth. So........... here are a few older photos to look at for now they are form my Mom's camera so they should be ones that you have not seen.

Hey everybody sorry there are still no pictures but the blogger is still messed up and not allowing me to put up any new pictures. I am very frustrated and have went to the help page numerous times and still nothing. Apparently there are quite a few people having trouble there were many people leaving their questions. I will keep trying to post the pictures and hopefully it will work soon.
Charleigh has finally gotten her top two teeth to break through. She looks so cute with her new little teeth. She is very, very active(that is putting it mildly) she is standing on her own and taking steps from the coffe table to the couch, from the one kitchen chair to another and walking with her walker everywhere but still not walking on her own much. She sits down very slowly when she realizes she is standing on her own almost as if she is thinking " WOW, that was a close one." She is off the bottle and has been for two and a half months and has been drinking milk like it is going out of style. However, she really doesn't like too many soild foods. It is driving me crazy. I keep thinking of healty foods she might like to give her she won't eat them. She likes peaches, pineapple, bananas (most of the time) oranges, lemons (I know) and of course cherrios and crackers and her baby snacks but everyhing else she will try and then spit it out. she is now handing all the food she doesn't want back to us. She even puts it into our mouths hoping we will eat so she doesn't have to. Ben and I joke that she is going to be going to kindergarten and we will have to pack her lunch with baby food. We just keep trying to take her away from the table if she won't eat what we give her but it still isn't helping her eat any more solid foods. We are open to suggestions if you have any.
I have recently got a job at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis (PRN which just means as needed.) It will be a lot of weekend days which will be good so Ben can watch Charleigh. On the week days my Grandma will be watching her. I am excited about getting back to work and still be able to be at home with Charleigh 90% of the time. So I will keep working on the blog and hope you all keep looking
