The Zebu

She loved feeding all of the animals and would have stayed here all day if we let her.

She claps for herself. Way to go!

She smiled the entire time, it was just at the animals instead of at me with the camera.

Grandpa.... take turns.

Horse Racing at the State Fair

Charleigh and Mom know to smaile for the camera, now if only we could train Dad.

She was clapping for the horses as they came around the track.

She does this a lot now. She claps while she is bent over and calls for people like she is calling a tiny puppy to come to her.

This scarf thing isn't a new fashion statement, it is one of those cold gel things to keep her cool, it hit record highs the week of the fair. However, the heat could never slow this wild child down.

Sweet Summer Time.

What are we going to do when the summer is over? Water is one of her favorite things to play in/with.

In the Barn

She has a sand box, but she likes to play in the corn for the horses.

I was around the corner squirting her with the hose.

She thought that her Grandpa might save her. I just spayed them both.

Lacy's Kid Julio and Charleigh.....

It is funny, Julio plays with Charleigh like Chartleigh plays with Clementine. he gets right in her face and she tries to get away.

She saw Lacy's radio, turned it on and danced around her kitchen.

Julio licking Charleigh, Lacy trying to hold onto both wiggle worms.

I'M FAMOUS (sort of)

I hate to be a bragger (who am I kidding? I brag on my family all of the time.) But I made the front page of the August Issue of Equestrian Central. It is a Missouri Magazine all about horses and horse related events. I am racing another lady on my horse Scooter. He is the horse you always see Charleigh on and he is FAST!!!! It was the main reason I traded my old horse for him 11 years go. I look like a total geek in the picture, I guess thier airbrush artist was off on vacation that day. Oh well my horse looks great and I was the winner of the race & to make the victory even sweeter the other girl was bragging right before we raced about how fast her horse was and how she had raced before and had never lost. When she said it I was thinking "oh great, I'm gonna lose." but I didn't because I AM A WINNER , if you don't believe me just ask. I will try to scan it and post it as soon as I can use Ben's computer

BUCKING RIGHT

We went out to our friend Jerry's place who has a nice set up for bucking out a few of his bulls. Ben got on a few and Charleigh wanted to ride Clyde, Jerry's horse and to sit on a bull. Jerry is great with all kids and takes Charleigh at all the rodeos and get-togethers he sat with her on his bull.

I was pulling the flanks. I had so much more fun than just watching. I would pull a flank, change a dirty diaper, pull a flank get Charleigh a snack...... All the guys helped out with Charleigh, they would get on a bull then play with her. It is great, you don't have to ask them all of them just get her what she needs, or tickle her whatever it takes to keep her happy, Charleigh likes to watch the bulls too, so it makes it easier.

Clementine

This little girl is always happy, not only is she not fussy, she is always laughing. She deserves to have her own blog but her parents are slackers. I am debating about reporting them.
