The Pumkpkin festival.

We went to a pumpkin festival in Columbia. We thought it was a good idea at the time, but we had to wait in a line of cars for an hour and a half or more just to get into the thing. It was SUPER CROWDED, and by the time we got there Charleigh was tired and cranky. But we made the most of it and had a pretty good time, but we were all exhausted after from a long day. Hugging the pumkin.

Hugging and playing with Clementine.

You've Got mail.....

Charleigh got a card in the mail from her Aunt Dawn for Halloween. It is the first card she has ever gotten and been aware of. As soon as we went and got the mail and I told her it was for her she was squealing. She loved it. She read it everywhere. She showed it to the neighbor, the scarecrow, the skeleton and Daddy when he got home. She ran all over the yard with her special card. Thank you Aunt Dawn for the Halloween wishes.

Number One Loser....

We were in the mini golf capitol of the U.S. (or so we were told)so we had to play. We made it a bit more interesting by betting a little money on it. I really wanted to win the game but it just wasn't in the cards. I lost. BY A LOT!! Oh well I did get 2 hole in ones. I was ready for a rematch but everyone else was scared.

A friendly game of mini golf...

Dad was trying really hard not to get beat by all of us. He would tell us things like "AIM".
It made it funny when he would do the same thing he had just advised us not to do and we could say"just aim, Dad"

Lacy and Ben were neck and neck for first place so they had to keep teasing each other. It was mostly Lacy teasing Ben, surprise, surprise,. But it ended with Ben winning by like one hole.He went away with the grand prize of 8 dollars, and the game cost $9.

Nate up against an obstacle.

Lacy saw this picture and observed that her ball was't in it so it must be in the hole. I think it could be in the little stream that ran by the hole, whatever you want to think Lacy.

Charleigh loves for anyone to read her books to her. This time she suckered Yaya into it.

Everyday is a new day......

So everyday Charleigh does something new, something that makes me laugh out loud. Yesterday as she was eating her ice she started singing "Ice Ice Baby..." Just like her Grandma does when ever Charleigh asks for ice.
I think about how many wonderful firsts I have gotten to share with her, being a stay at home mom. I really love my job(most of the time) and I love the medical feild and all the crazy stories that come into the hospital on a daily basis but I love being at home rasing my sweet girl way more. I know that I am very lucky to have an understanding husband who agrees that the most important job we have is raising Charleigh. He has to stay out tonight and we are missing him, so Ben if you are reading this tonight, Thnaks for all you do for us, we love you

MYRTLE BEACH

This is outside the aquarium, Dad said that it "wasn't his thing" so he went and scouted out our next adventure: The Imax safari.

She is such a little follower. She does what we do and it never ceases to make us laugh. ARRRRGGHHHH

RIPLEYS

She kept coming back to this aquarium, it had starfish, urchins, and coral. I guess the bright colors kept calling her back.
