The Great Egg Chase.....

The kids still had a good time even though they didn't get many eggs.

Some older kids gave us their eggs and candy as they were leaving!

The girls waiting for their age division in the Easter egg hunt of 09. The first and last one we will attend. There were about 3,000 people here for all different ages of kids, the parents in the 2-3 year old division rushed the field and Charleigh and Clementine got separated. Charleigh kept getting pushed farther away from me, I told Ben to grab Clementine and I went out to get Charleigh. She was to concerned to pick up any eggs, I gave her 2 and that was all that was left it was over in 30 seconds, no joke. Later my Grandma asked Charleigh if she had fun she said it was scary. My Grandma asked her why and she said all of the people.

We waited and waited for the never ending line of people to get on the field.

rain, rain go away...

Any time it rains, Charleigh sings this song and always says " that is what Grnadma sings" She is talking about my Grandmother who watches her when Ben and I both work. My Grandma spoils her rotten. She takes her to the park for 5 hours at a time.

Daddy's Girl.

Charleigh was with my Mom while I was at work and Ben and Dad were at the Angola Prison Rodeo in Louisanna, and she requested my mom bring in a table for her "puter" I swear she must have learned this from Ben although he denies it. He is always working, even when is is technically off work I know she has to get this from him. It cracks me up, I wonder if she will think it is funny in a few years.......

A okay

So today I had some tests the nonstress test started off with her not moving enough so the nurse gave her a shock and HOLY MOLY did that bring her to life. She was moving like crazy. Her heart rate before the shock was 125 after it was about 170. So they said it was good along with the other tests but she is measuring 5lbs instead of 6 so the Doctor says the longer we wait the better. So now the plan is to go in a couple times each week and she said we will just see day by day. Of course.... now that I have come to terms with not making it until June and I am ready to see her now she is ready to wait! Please tell me she isn't going to be this ornery when she comes out! Next appt will be Monday so stay tuned.

P.S. I am blogging from Ben's computer because the problem with me not being able to post pictures is obviously with my computer and most of the pictures are on there so hang in there. My computer man is nesting and getting the house in order before this baby arrives andhe is very busy with work. Not to mention him doing just about every thing for Charleigh because he is worried about me doing too much . He is so good to me, now if only he would do the dishes........

Donkey trainer.

It all started at the horse fair in March..... Charleigh saw these "wittle beety" donkeys and that was it. The rest of the weekend she kept wanting to go back and visit them. She told Grandpa she wanted a donkey, so he asked her what she would do with Scooter and if she would trade him for a donkey. Her answer..... "yes" Weeks later out of blue she was on her swing in our front yard and she said " Momma, I'll give Scooter-bug to my sister and ask Grandpa to get me a donkey." Later on she made the comment about being a donkey trainer. So Grandpa was in hot pursuit of a donkey for his Grand girls. It didn't take long and he had some lined out and Ben talked to his friend and found one. So the next day we drove and hour and a half one way to pick up Sassafras or as Charleigh quickly renamed him wittle buddy. Of course she had to take him for a ride him that night when we got home at 9:00 at night. Then at 7:00 the next morning she woke up, went and put her boots on and then came and said in her sweetest voice "Daddy, can I ride my donkey?" So out we went, you can see by her outfit and Ben's outfit that we were not quite awake yet. She rode him several more times that day. Wittle Buddy thought he had a rough life living in a teeny tiny stall, he has now discovered a whole new hell. He runs the other direction when he sees Charleigh or Clementine. Poor little guy never knew what was coming.
The donkeys that began the addiction.

JUST ABOUT TIME.......

Soooooo.......... it looks like we are having a "Charleigh birth re-run" I went into my doctors office on Tuesday and I was already dilated so I knew I would not make it until June, but I was hopefull that I would at least make it until the end of May. I had an ultrasound yesterday and the first thing my cousin noticed was the amount of fluid. In a normal pregnancy there is 5-25 centimeters of fluid, right now I am at 32, with Charleigh I was at 40. As I was on her table I was having contractions and she must have moved wrong because I almost passed out. She also said my placenta which works like a filter for the baby is shot. She showed me how it is supposed to look and how mine looks and it wasn't pretty. So the doctor ordered a nonstress test with monitors the baby's movements and heart rate. She said that they want the baby's heart rate to rise 2o bpm every time she moves. Only she barely moved throughout the entire test which meant I needed to go over to the hospital and be checked out even more. After I left the nonstress test, she began moving and was moving as Dr. Lee listened to her little heartbeat so she was less concerned. The baby(who we have yet to decide on a name) is only measuring 6lbs and the doctor is more worried about taking her too early and her lungs not being developed than the other problems. I have been feeling short of breath, back pain, a little dizzy and nauseous for a while now, all symptoms of the hydramnosis(too much fluid) but I just thought that this is how pregnancy feels, I have never had a normal pregnancy so what do I know? I guess maybe I shouldn't have went horseback riding 4 days ago!
My cousin kept asking me about how I am feeling asking if I am miserable and telling me that she doesn't think I realize how much fluid I am retaining. I just thought it was normal to feel the way I have been feeling. I thought that all pregnant women felt the same way (like a whale.)
So anyway I go in tomorrow for a biophysical profile(a very detailed ultrasound) and for another nonstress test and if all goes well I will go home and go in every other day for tests , if not I will be admitted and we will be having this baby this weekend! !! Isn't that CRAZY? I am going to have 2 sweet baby girls, I am getting so excited and scared I cannot stand it! I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE IT UNTIL JUNE for pool party birthdays but now I am ready to see her I guess the summer is is not all that important, but it would have been fun! So I (or Ben will keep you all posted)

OUT OF ROOM!

Yes, it has happened. We have officially used up all of the free space on our blog! I have been trying to post new pictures with no success and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I had my smart computer guy(Ben) look at it and he said I was out of room. He suggested I just delete some of the first posts! "You mean the ones where she was first born?"
"NOWAY!!!" This is like a little baby book and there is noway I could delete any of it so........we had to purchase more space, it was only $20 for a year and it is 10 GB so lets hope this works. It takes 24 hours until I am able to post new pictures so I will try to get them up before we go camping this weekend.

FROM THE MOUTH OF CHARLEIGH

I am having problems uploading pictures so until I get it to work here are some of the funny things Charleigh has said recently.....

Ben called Charleigh at my Grandma's to check on her and as soon as she got on the phone she said "Hi Dad.....I am being good." Translation: I am walking all over Grandma and eating chips and candy all day long and pretty much doing whatever the heck I want.

She was in the camper helping us clean it out and get it ready for summer and I had to sit down beacuse all of the bending over was killing me. As soon I sat down and Charleigh asked what I was doing so I explained to her that the baby was running out of room and was hurting my belly. She said "Dad, will you finishing cleaning up this mess..... I cannot bend over anymore, I have a baby in my tummy." He asked her what kind and she said "A frog, like Momma."

She yelled at me form the other room "Mom can you do me a faborite" which is how she says favorite, but what she meant was can you do me a favor.

The other day Charleigh and my Dad were out running around, they stopped to talk to some of Dad's friends and Charleigh was talking up a storm. They asked her if she trained horses and she said "yeah, and donkies too."
