Sorry it has taken us so long to update this, it has been a busy summer. Ben has Ben working in K.C and Columbia for the past three weeks so Charleigh and I have been staying at my parents house to be closer to Ben. There hasn't been a single weekend where we have been at our home throughtout the entire summer. We went to Tim and Christian's wedding July(I will put up pictures as soon as I have some) then Ben had the Bullriders of America finals in Ft. Madison, IA, the next weekend was the Missouri Finals at the State Fair, after that we had the Extreme Bullriding at the state fair and last but not least CHARITY GOT MARRIED!! SUPRISE!! It was a very small wedding with immediate family and just a few of Charity and Rick's Friends. Most of the family didn't even know about it until Dad announced it to the crowd right before they walked out. It was in Mom and Dad's back yard and I made a lot of the food and arranged all the flowers so it kept me very busy. So it is official Charity is no longer a Clark she is now Charity AnnMarie Penrose. Too, bad I didn't give a speech at the reception, otherwise I could of yelled Clarks rule!!!
So I guess I should update everyone on Charleigh's progress since she is the main reason for this page. She is now seven months old and as beautiful as she could be. She has some definite likes and dislikes things she loves include dogs, horses or mules, swimming, bath time, being outside, every food she has tried with the exception of whipped cream(I didn't give it to her), and being the center of attention.
Any time she sees a dog she squeals with excitement and she flails her arms and legs like crazy. She also does this with the horses. She saw a donkey at the state fair and she kept looking at him and laughing. She would look away and then look at him again like it was the first time she saw him and begin laughing again. We stood there for 10 minutes both of us cracking up. She will still swim for hours if we let her, the same goes for baths she will play and play until we get tried and take her out. She was given whipped cream at a wedding shower and she literally gagged she did not want any part of it. Everywhere we go people always flock to Charleigh and she loves it! Sayin she loves it might be a bit of an understatement. She smiles at every person that comes over to talk to her. She will grin and grin until they walk away. She also smiles at people until they say somthing to her then she looks away and tucks her head as if she is saying " Oh, go on" She does the same thing with cameras she smiles every time there is one pointed at her. It is unreal.
Things here in the Ferrell household have been going great. We couldn't be happier,(alright if we won the lottery we would be a teeny tiny bit happier but other than that life is good) I look at Charleigh and think about how perfect she has made us. She is so happy, when she smiles at you it is impossible to have anything be wrong. You can be exhausted or stressed and one smile from her makes it all go away. It is like a miracle medicine. well we will go for now enjoy the pics even though they may be a little old.
