Charleigh showing off some of the flowers we got for Adalyn's birth. These are some my Grandma brought from her garden, they are so pretty. They brightened up our house for several days.

Stop and smell the Flowers...

Charleigh was really enjoying the flowers sent by Ben's work. They were really beautiful and huge! She kept saying "smell'em Momma" and then she would say "mmmmm, smell so good" She practically had the flower up her nose so I am surprised she could smell anything. In a couple of the pictures you can see her nostrils and tell she is really trying her best to get a good whiff.

My Sweet Baby

Adalyn in her big ol' bed her first day home.

Things here have been going great, busy but great. We spent memorial weekend with family BBQ'ing and hanging out and showing off our newest little love. Ben had to go back to work ( a day I had been dreading since before her birth). He is SUCH A GREAT DADDY and he helps out so much with the girls I honestly was afraid I wouldn't be able to take care of two kids all alone. Not to mention I was getting used to having him here and I hate to admit it, but having him want to do everything for me was very nice. I am pleased to announce that I made it through the first week and it has flown by. I am already getting sad about my new baby getting too big. I want to take in and remember every single day, every single minute because it doesn't stay the same for long. The second song that plays on here "It Won't be Like This for Long." makes me cry every time I hear it. I have to change the station when it comes on because it hits too close to home for me. It still doesn't seem like I should be old enough to have my own babies, or to even have a husband, It feels like I just gave birth to my sweet Charleigh and now my baby girl is almost two weeks old. Where does the time go? It just doesn't seem fair.
Enough of that.......
Other than me wanting to stop time, things here are WONDERFUL! It is summer time, we are leaving for Emenience this week, I have a sweet, beautiful, healthy family and we are all happy. (at the moment) Life is Good.

Sticky Sweet

I am posting these even though they are a bit old, we went to St. Clair rodeo and camped out the first weekend in May. I have soooo many pictures to post and we leave for Eminence this week so I will have many more soon!

Charleigh is in love with the idea of cotton candy but not real in love with eating it.

The first weekend in May we went to St. Clair rodeo and Ben helped pick-up with Brandon. He did a much better job than I did, so I guess I am out of a job!

Hanging out

After the kids rode their sheep they played in the sand in the arena.

Mutton Bustin

Charleigh has been begging to ride a sheep every time we go to a rodeo where they have them. While we were hanging out Saturday afternoon she got her chance, it was actually uneventful. She had fun, but her Daddy ran beside her to make sure she didn't hit the ground.

Playing Ponies...

Charleigh loves to play with her My Little Ponies, she pulled her chair up next to Brandon and was asking him which one was his "faborite".

As soon as I caught his attention and he realized I was taking a picture of him he immediately decided play time was over and gave all of Charleigh's ponies back to her. I guess he is afraid of what people will think if word gets out that he actually held pretty ponies in his lap! Don't worry your secret is safe with me.
