FAST HORSES

Fine and Dandy...

This is Charity's horse, Dandy. She has had since she was a tiny little girl(3, I think). He has been riden by everyone. Every cousin, neighbor, friend, used in every riding lesson, went to camp every year Dad was bringing horses to it, went to Emienance for 10 or more years and he is still going strong. He is 28. I got on him the other day with a halter and he took off running as fast as his little legs would carry him. He loves to run, always has. He is old faithful and I am excited to see Clementine enjoy riding him like Charleigh does and like all of us have. He has lived on the 5 C ranch longer than any other horse has.( oh and please don't judge her outfit she wasn't prepared to ride,d.) Happy as can be to be riding.

Look at that smile.

Here is a fake smile, but it is still cute.

Daddy's Lil' Cowgirl

You can tell in this picture that Dandy is trotting, but don't worry she has a seat belt on.

Watching the Bulls

She is terrified of the rodeo clown. Wouldn't you know that the his favorite spot to stand was right by us. She would get as close to me as she would try to climb over the lawn chair to get away. She wanted to watch the bulls but couldn't focus, because she wanted to make sure he wasn't getting close. She was scared enought that after we would take her away from our seats to calm her down she didn't want to go back to our seats. I wonder if she has read Stephen King's "IT"?

She sometimes calls these boots, sometimes she calls them bulls. I guess it is because she always wears them at the bullridings.

Bunny Love

She would say "ohhhhh."

She would win an animal look alike contest in the picture. They both are so cute!

Here comes Peter Cottontail...

When bunnies visit our yard Charleigh chases them and tries her best to catch them. She fianlly is able to pet a bunny and she loved it.

Grandpa had to get Charleigh her very own palm leaf hat. It is just like her daddy's. Probably even close in size since she got my head.

This is the dairy house where we all got ice cream. Charleigh would only eat her Grammy's sugar free ice cream and not any of ours. We tried to share with her but she only wanted the plain ole' vanilla. Behind her is a little girl and her calf carved out of butter, I thought it was neat.

Everyone in thier hats... in the rainforest at the fair. They had monkies, lemurs, pythons, other reptiles and a horse and kittens. A horse and kittens in the rainforest? Yeah I thought it was odd too.

Always a must....

......is the petting zoo at the state fair. This one of the best petting zoos I have ever seen. They used to come to the Warrenton Fair years ago and I would always go see all of the animals. Charleigh loved to feed and pet everything. She would even speak their language to them, the ones she didn't know like the Camel and the Bongo she would say "MOOOOOOO". She is crazy for any animal.

More fun at ther petting zoo....

I had a donkey just like this when I was in 7th or 8th grade. He would follow me around like a puppy when he was this size.
