The BIRDS and the BEES

Halloween 09.
It was virtually impossible to get both of the girls to look at the camera with their eyes open and both with a smile, after a few of the first pictures I went with plan B and took them separately.

Adalyn kept getting Charleigh's feathers.

Pretty Peacock

I love this little face.

Her costume this year was adorable, she loved wearing it. When I asked her to wear it for pictures, she cried and said she didn't want to get rid of it.She thought I was taking pictures for ebay to sell it.

Tough enough to wear pink...

I am sure Scooter is real happy that Charleigh uses a hot pink halter on him. She saw a pink halter hanging in the tack room and wanted to use it but it belongs to a lady we are training a horse for so I told her she couldn't use it. I saw this one when we were coming back from a wedding Ben and I went to and Mom and Dad watched the girls so we got it for her for a suprise. She was very excited. Everytime we go out to ride now, she says "Can I use the pink halter on Scooter?"

Getting pumped up for her first real horseback ride, 5 months old.

Can you see the excitement in her eyes? ......Yeah. Me neither.

Adalyn's First ride

She talked a while before falling asleep, it is hard to say if she really liked it but she didn't hate it cause' she didn't cry. I guess time will tell......

Hanging out at the sale

We bundled Adalyn up for the horse sale at Boone county, one of our nannies(Dad) watched her and Charleigh while Ben and I rode the horses before the sale and in the ring, Uncle Al was there too helping Dad with the girls. There were several women flocking around them at the sale, the girls were catching their eye more than the horses selling. Can you blame them? Look at how stinking cute these girls are!
