Dad playing in the water with his little girl. She loved to throw her toys and watch them float down the river. Ben never said a word.

The Girls getting some sun.
We went tubing every other day, this day we just relaxed in the river right by camp.

ALLEY SPRING

This is the top of Alley Spring. It feeds the Jacks Fork River that we all go tubing on. Right here thewater is really freezing. When we were 7 Dad siad he would give us five dollars each if we could stay in the water for 5 minutes. We tried but couldn't do it.
The sign said that Alley Spring pumps out 81 million gallons of water a day.

Charleigh wanted to get into the water.

She really wanted to get into the water, plus it was time for a nap. Bad combo.

Look at how clear the water is.

more at Alley spring

It rained a couple of days so after riding we went to Alley Spring. It really is very very pretty. If you are ever in the area camping go it is free, & worth taking the time.

The trees had water on them & Charleigh wanted to touch them. As soon as she did she would squeal.

Cowgirl Forever

So we are back from vacation and back to the world of technology. We spent 10 wonderful days in Emienance, Mo at the Cross Country Trailride. We swam, tubed, ate, danced and rode, and rode and rode and rode.... and ..... Yeah. that is right we rode or lead Charleigh around camp while she rode 3-5 hours out of the day. Everytime she saw a horse(there are approximately 2000 there) she would point and want to ride. It took the first two days for her to get adjusted to a camp schedule and to realize she would get to ride a horse. She rode with me on the trails and by herself in her new saddle or on Thunder with us leading her around camp. She was the star of the entire camp, really she was. She was so happy to be riding that she did her usual wave & kiss blowing all over camp. She literally must have waved or blown kisses to 2,000 people. They all would see her and call her the rodeo queen. Even when she wasn't on a horse, if she was just around camp people would recognize her & call her the rodeo queen. She waved and kissed everywhere we went, the girls at the dining hall got to know her by name and would bring her stuff and come say hi to her at every meal. And she in return would smile and blow them kisses. She is really something else. She brings smiles to everyone she meets. She really makes your heart melt.

In the camper.

Charleigh is in love with Elmo's Wild West show. She is getting ready fo bed, relaxing with Elmo. My parents, Ben and Uncle Alan were humming, singing, or whistling the song from this all week. it wasn't a good catchy or even cute song, Charleigh just had it brainwashed into their heads.

Riding Thunder

Charleigh would grab a halter and stand at one of our horses stall or Thunder's stall (Cooper's pony) We would let her sit but she wanted the reins and then wanted to move not just sit still. She is absolutly crazy about riding horses.

Then Cooper wanted to ride his pony. So they rode double.
