MISSISSIPPI BOUND

We all traveled down to Mississippi for Easter. We had such a good time visiting with Ben's family. His sister and brother-in-law from Flordia drove over since they didn't get to over Christmas, we even played dirty santa again. I got a survival kit in a bottle and Ben got a statue of a bull, we all had a lot of fun. The only problem with the trip was that we went down there expecting warm sunny weather and it never happened. We must bring the cold with us, it was the same story in October when we visited. I am sure next time it will be warmer and we will be wishing it was so hot.......

We let Charleigh have two pieces of chocolate to celebrate Easter, one on Saturday, one on Sunday. She would eat it until she got sick but that is what parents are for...right?.. to monitor your kids to keep them as healthy as possible? We try so hard to teach her to like healthy foods and make good food choices so two pieces of chocolate isn't going to ruin her forever but still I worry that we are doing things wrong. I also worry she is going to be one of those cute little kids you see in the store and then they smile at you and AHHHHHHAHHAHHH they already have rotten teeth.... and instantly you think " BAD PARENTS!" Ben always says I worry way to much.

Charleigh(as usual) brought her Aunt Kendra all of her toys but this time she found a hat as well. She had Kendra put it on her head then she went back to playing around the living room. She looked over and noticed that Kendra had taken off the hat. What? How could she? .. Charleigh goes back over picks the hat off of Kendra's lap and points to her head. "Alright,Alright" Kendra puts it back on. This goes on for like an hour and a half. Charleigh glances up from playing and her hat was off!!!!!!! We all Kendra and Charleigh included) laughed and laughed.
