Logan and Jackson are our life long friends kids. Korie and Patrick grew up down the road from us and we were like sisters and brothers. Korie was telling me that the boys loved Ben and for some odd reason thought he was the coolest. They were excited about watching him ride at the bull riding but since he was still sore and not entered, he pushed bulls. The boys were still excited to see Ben out in the arena and were watching him. I told him to go over to them and say hi. After he did the boys came running over to us out of breath saying "he, he came over and said hi and he, he said that we could ride his horse after the rodeo!" they said it so fast and out of breath it was extremely cute. They were so appreciative it made it even cuter.

Happy Independance Day!!
Cowboy Stuff....
The Parade...
We ended up waiting for 3 hours on our horses for the rest of the parade to go by before it was our turn. Charleigh did so good waiting but she kept saying "that way!" and pointing to the parade. She didn't understand why in the world we were just sitting there. Finally it was our turn to fall in line behind the large semi trucks and Charleigh said she had to go potty. You're kidding right? She held it through the entire parade route!
So we dressed up with the theme(we were the only ones who did) we had a sign that said "we remember the Warren County Fair Rodeo." We all had on our chaps, back numbers,(Ben was a bullrider, Charleigh a mutton buster, me a barrel racer.) Charleigh was the littlest rider in the parade by at least 6 years and she waved and blew kisses and waved her little American flag the entire time all while holding her reins. Can you guess what I am getting at? Uh-huh..... we didn't even place! I thought we would at least win by default since nobody else went with the theme NOTHING!!! But I am over it.....I think. It was fun though, Charleigh was the star of the show, eveyone kept saying how little and cute she was. She DID NOT want it to be over, she cried to go farther but the parade was over.
She was looking back at Ya-Ya blowing kisses.
Waving her little flag.
Her Rodeo Queen wave.
HER FIRST REAL CARNIVAL RIDE!
She was so excited about going down the big slide at the fair but they said she was too little and didn't allow kids to go on parents laps. She didn't understand why we had waited in line for so long only to turn around and not ride. So I said she could ride another ride and she picked this one.
I was worried she would get scared being so high up in the air, and riding all by herself. I kept asking her if she was sure she wanted to ride this, and she kept saying "mmmm hmmmm."
Turns out she wasn't scared at all, SHE LOVED IT!
THIS IS HER AFTER THE RIDE!

Our Little Cave Girl...
The theme for the Warrenton Parade was "Remembering the Past." or so we thought....and we bought these cave people wigs and all of the accessories. But the actual theme was "Remembering the past 59 years of the Warren County Fair." They didn't have cavemen in the last 59 years so we didn't get to use these awsome wigs. Charleigh still loved to put them on and jump out and scare the crap out of eveyone.
