WELCOME JULY!!!!!!!!

As we are entering the last week of July my newest nephew is entering this wonderful world! My oldest sister, Charity and her husband Rick along with big brother Kyren (8) and big sister Clementine (2) welcomed July Einly Penrose into their lives this morning at 7:51 a.m. He was born via c-section, so there were no suprises about his delivery date. He weighed in at 7.14 and was 20 inches long. Momma and baby are doing great! (however, Momma is still an emotional mess crying at the drop of a hat) In her old age she has really gotten soft!

My Sweet Girls!

I got a few pictures of the girls this week, not as many as I would like but I am giving it another try this week. Adalyn is 8 weeks and growing up WAY TOO QUICK!!!! I love her chubby little cheeks ! She is growing quiker than Charleigh did, she is already up to 12 or so pounds! At her 6 week check up she was 10lbs and she feels heavier now! Time is going by way too fast! I just want to remember all of these days, but somehow deep down I know I will forget her ever being this little, all of the sweet noises she makes and I will be sad. I will just take as many pictures as possible and try my best not to take any of it for granted!

wrapped around your finger...

Charleigh has these two right where she wants them. She knows she can get pretty much whatever she wants from these guys. So whenever I make her go to time-out or get on to her about listening she cries for her Daddy and Grandpa. Ahhhhh I am out numbered!

Blowing me kisses.

We usually cross the water as much as possible, it keeps the horses and us cool in the summer heat plus it is fun! But this year with all of the rain the river was a bit high which made crossing with all of the kids a little difficult so we were only able to cross a few times. There is always next year!

Just to be safe we had Charleigh ride on her Grandpa's horse and I led Scooter across.

Bring on the Junk!

Lacy and her friend Chris at the top of the fox pens. She came over for the day while in town for a float trip.

Camp is in the top right corner, we are at the top of the fox pens where they used to have candy and soda for sale but this year they didn't! We used to plan all of our rides around the fox pens because of the soda, candy and outhouses. Now all that you can find there are the outhouses, what a let down!

Speaking of "junk food" ...... I always tell Charleigh that she cannot fill up on junk, if she is hungry she can eat __________(fill in the blank). A couple of weeks ago she started in on the "Mom, I hungry........(whine, whine) and I started to say eat an appl..... she cuts me off...... Charleigh says "Plllllllleeasssse Mommmmm. Pllleasse can I have some JUNK?"

Charleigh got on with grandpa when she was tired so she could take a nap, but first she had to make sure to wrap him just a little bit tighter around her finger....

Alan teasing Charleigh.....probably calling her a "monkey girl" all of his nieces and nephews were either monkey girls or monkey boys. Now his great nieces are taking our places.

Charleigh eats a granola bar on the trail and Grandpa pretends to eat whatever fake food Charleigh is serving.
