Four Years and going Strong

Always been good with the Kids...

Fun Show, Good Times

This last weekend my parents had a fun show at their house. Everyone had a blast. This is the kids egg and spoon class. Charleigh held onto her egg with her opposite hand (which is aganist the rules) When it was time to go faster she said" Alan, hold my egg, go fast" which meant hold onto my egg while we run, so that I do not drop it. Needless to say she placed last(she was disqualified)

A VERY SAD DAY....

You might need to sit down before you read this. Yes, it finally happened. Charleigh rode this horse until the screw wore through the wooden dowel. To add insult to injury, the screw put a pretty big scrape on her little buttocks. She was very upset and keep saying she got bucked off.

Getting wild and crazy! Time to yell Yee-haw, ride'em cowgirl!

She would ride in the yard like this for hours a day. Sometimes she would get her flag and hold it up and sing the National Anthem, well the "oh say" part of it anyway then she just mumbles the rest. Some days she would jabber on and on about Scooter-bug, she would yell "walk, walk Scooter-bug." then she would make the kissy noise to make him run and she would take off riding like crazy. She would yell " hey Mama wook me, runnin' !" translation: look at me Mama, I am running. often times she would say WHOA! WHOA Scooter-bug! and then pat him and say "good-boy." She talks NON-STOP she is a jabber box and every other word is "WHY?" "WHY?" "WHY?"

Her Hat's off to you.....

Any time Charleigh puts on her cowgirl hat she has the urge to take it off, wave it in the air and yell YEE-HAW! As you can tell from all of these pictures she feels that urge quite often.

She loves it anyway...

Yeah, she loves to wear this swimsuit even though it is too big for her. Maybe next year!

Strike a Pose

Charleigh was playing outside in her pool and slip and slide so I brought out my camera to get a few pictures. She came over and wanted to pose for me,sometimes she loves to have her picture taken, then other times it is almost painful for her. She is such a little sweetie, she would put her hands on her hips and turn,put her hands up by her face like she was in a cheesy portrait studio.

Daddy's little helper

Charleigh always wants to help Ben with his home improvement projects. This time it was when we were moving our new washer and dryer in. The old owners had put something like joint compound down on the floor to even it out it was all cracked and uneven so we had to pull up the vinyl that was down and fix the uneven areas with extra plywood. Charleigh was pretending to use a scrapper and then she would pick up all of the little pieces that we broke up and she would put them into her bucket then into the trash.

Riding High!

I was at work and Ben was working on the house, he looked outside to see Charleigh on top of her favorite car! He took pictures and then told her to get down.

Sweet Summer

Charleigh took a break form her slip-n-slide and pool to catch some sun on her towel. I was inside getting her something to drink and I looked outside to see her laying out.
